Ah—an immense joy!
One of those roles you can hardly believe you’ve just sung! I’m only now beginning to understand why my teachers warned me to enter the dramatic repertoire as late as possible, because roles like these require complete vocal, physical, acting, and mental readiness. I’m grateful to myself for patiently building my vocal technique, and for being just crazy enough to take on three performances in a row—and finally, to the theatre that welcomed me as its own, LNOBT in Vilnius.
